The Audit & Assurance team provides traditional attestation services, as well as accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. Professionals in this team demonstrate deep specialization, understanding market and business challenges clients face, and are dedicated to audit quality. This is one of Crowe's largest practices. The opportunity is available for full-time or seasonal work arrangements. The role involves leading teams, gaining deep industry insight, growing client relationships, and promoting new ideas and business solutions. Continuous learning of the latest developments, firm standards, and policies is expected, as is staying on top of industry trends and their impact on clients' competitive positions. The position is described as #LI-Hybrid and #LI-Onsite.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience.
  • Experience in external audit working with Food & Commodities, Metals, Supply Chain, Cannabis, Healthcare, Technology Media Telecommunications, Consumer Markets, Life Sciences, Real Estate & Construction, & Manufacturing clients.
  • Organization, communication, technical, time management, and accounting and auditing skills.
  • Ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion.
  • Ability to multi-task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently.
  • Experience supervising engagement team members and instructing them on completing assigned task.
  • Must be a licensed CPA in your aligned home office state or be able to acquire a reciprocal one for that state.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel to various client sites.

  • Responsibility of client relationships with a variety of clients to build positive relationships.
  • Leading multiple teams and providing performance feedback to all members of those teams when engagements end.
  • Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
  • Continue learning the latest developments and the firm's standards and policies.
  • Staying on top of industry developments and their effects on client's competitive position.
