Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop Teams (30%) Mentor, train, and directly supervise Staff and Senior Accountants
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and career development support
  • Manage workflow distribution to keep engagements organized and on schedule
  • Perform detailed technical reviews of audit workpapers and financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and firm standards
  • Create and deliver training sessions to strengthen technical skills across the team
  • Build Strong Client Relationships & Grow Business (25%) Serve as the primary relationship manager for multiple not-for-profit clients
  • Lead client meetings, including exit conferences and Board presentations
  • Represent the firm at networking events and strengthen referral partnerships
  • Support business development efforts by assisting with RFP responses and new client opportunities
  • Engagement Planning & Budget Management (15%) Plan and oversee complex audit engagements from start to finish
  • Develop engagement budgets and track performance against projections
  • Ensure teams obtain sufficient, high-quality audit evidence while maintaining efficiency and profitability
  • Keep timelines on track while maintaining the highest standards of audit quality
