About The Position

The Audit Manager – Group Consolidation & IFRS is a critical role within the Finance organization, responsible for building the reporting backbone for a global, multi-currency, multi-GAAP business. This role will own group consolidation, lead the conversion to IFRS, and serve as the primary liaison with Big 4 auditors. The position involves designing policies, processes, and systems to transform local GAAP reporting into an IFRS-compliant group picture, and defending financial data to senior stakeholders. The role reports directly to the CFO and will involve building and leading an international team. A key objective is preparing the company's financial infrastructure for a potential U.S. IPO by 2028.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including a strong Big 4 audit foundation (Senior / Manager level) followed ideally by in-house group accounting or consolidation experience.
  • Professional qualification: Wirtschaftsprüfer (WP), Steuerberater, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Deep technical IFRS expertise — including IFRS 2, IFRS 3, IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 36, and IAS 38 — and demonstrated ability to write defensible technical memos.
  • Hands-on experience leading group consolidation across multiple entities, currencies, and jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to lead a Big 4 audit from the company side.
  • Strong working knowledge of HGB.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Experience with consolidation tools (LucaNet, Tagetik, OneStream, or similar) and NetSuite.
  • Leadership experience in building and scaling international finance teams.
  • Strong background in internal controls, governance, and SOX.
  • High ownership mentality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (working language).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with US GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER.
  • German language proficiency.
  • Experience in healthcare, multi-site services, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience in a private equity- or venture-backed company.
  • Strong mindset for IFRS notes and Management Report drafting.
  • Exposure to M&A accounting.
  • Project management experience leading a finance transformation or IFRS first-time adoption.
  • Exposure to U.S. IPO readiness or pre-IPO reporting environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation across all Entyre entities, including currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and reconciliations.
  • Lead the IFRS conversion project end-to-end, including gap analysis, drafting conversion adjustments, opening balance sheet, and designing the IFRS group accounting manual.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Big 4 audit, managing scope, deliverables, and technical discussions.
  • Author technical accounting memos for complex topics.
  • Build and maintain group accounting policies and ensure consistent application across all local entities.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing international Group Accounting team.
  • Define and implement the target operating model for Group Accounting.
  • Partner with local finance leads to align reporting and resolve discrepancies.
  • Implement a group-wide internal control framework (SOX readiness).
  • Own financial governance and compliance across all entities.
  • Improve consolidation tooling and close cycle, reducing manual work and increasing data integrity.
  • Define the finance systems and data strategy, ensuring data quality.
  • Lead finance transformation and process scaling, driving change management.
  • Develop KPI and management reporting structures.
  • Support investor and lender reporting, due diligence requests, and ad hoc CFO projects.
  • Manage external advisors (audit, legal, IPO).
  • Act as a sparring partner to the CFO on performance and strategic decisions.
  • Build the reporting maturity, internal controls, and documentation required for U.S. IPO readiness.
