Requirements

Developed specialties in Affordable Housing or Not-for-profits and Real Estate
4-year bachelorâ€™s degree in accounting
Licensed CPA
4+ years of experience working for a public accounting firm
Energetically managing, coaching, and developing staff and senior accountants
Maintain and grow technical skills. Preference to industry expertise in HUD, Rural Development and LIHTC
Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers
Demonstrated initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently

Nice To Haves

Masterâ€™s degree preferred
Knowledge of audit software Caseware a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct multiple audit engagements within firm standards
Effectively communicate with partners, staff and clients regarding expectations, workflow, status of engagements and other matters
Initiating an active role in marketing firm services and producing new business
Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients
Traveling up to 15-20% of the time
