About The Position

Join BerryDunn as an Audit Intern and gain hands-on experience with critical financial processes such as cash management, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payrolls, and expense analysis. This internship offers an opportunity to work with clients across diverse industries such as Health Care, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Construction, Higher Education, and many others. This role is for the Spring 2027 session, running from January 5, 2027, through April 16, 2027.

Requirements

Currently enrolled as a student in an Accounting or related business program.
Available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week over three business days.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Strong analytical, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

Participate with team members on audit and review engagements supervised by senior staff members.
Conduct thorough research on audit issues utilizing firm software.
Collaborate with clients from a wide range of industries, gaining exposure to diverse business practices.
Work on a project team to develop an understanding of client businesses.
Identify and document task issues and progress in a timely and organized manner.
Act as an ambassador to prospective interns from your university.
