About The Position
Are you ready to embark on an exciting career journey and develop a robust foundation in audit services? Join BerryDunn as an Audit Intern and gain hands-on experience with critical financial processes such as cash management, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payrolls, and expense analysis. This internship offers an opportunity to work with clients across diverse industries such as Health Care, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Construction, Higher Education, and many others. We have openings for: Spring 2027 running from January 5, 2027 through April 16, 2027. Summer 2027 running from May 25, 2027 through August 6, 2027. In order to be considered, you must include your unofficial academic transcription with your application.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student in an Accounting or related business program.
- Available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week over three business days (opportunities for 40 hours during summer session).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Strong analytical, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Flexibility: willing to take on various tasks and challenges with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to Learn: seek advice and demonstrate an eagerness to learn and grow.
- Ambition: show a strong desire to develop your skills and contribute to the team.

Responsibilities
- Participate with team members on audit and review engagements supervised by senior staff members.
- Conduct thorough research on audit issues utilizing firm software.
- Collaborate with clients from a wide range of industries, gaining exposure to diverse business practices.
- Participate with team members on audit and review engagements and/or special projects supervised by senior staff members.
- Develop an understanding of client businesses by working on a project team.
- Identify and document task issues and progress in a timely and organized manner.
- Act as an ambassador to prospective interns from your university.
