About The Position

Cherry Bekaert, a leading accounting and consulting firm, is seeking an Audit Intern for Spring 2027 in Nashville. This internship offers insight into the public accounting profession and aims to build a solid foundation for a career in the field. Interns will work with multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements, apply accounting knowledge using firm technology, shadow audit professionals, and participate in team-building and training initiatives. Additionally, interns will complete a marketing or research project and attend social events, including happy hours, lunches, and community service outings.

Requirements

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
• Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
• Cherry Bekaert will not provide work sponsorship for this position

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
