About The Position

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Intern for Summer 2027 in Torrance. As an intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. You will work for multiple supervisors on various client engagements, apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology, shadow Audit professionals, and participate in team building and training initiatives. Additionally, you will participate in and present on a marketing or research project, and attend social functions such as happy hours, lunches, and community service projects.

Requirements

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
• Eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
