The Office of Financial Resources Management (OFRM) plays a crucial role within the Bureau for Management Services (BMS) and UNDP's global finance function, collaborating with Bureaux and Country Offices. OFRM's primary objective is to uphold UNDP's financial integrity by providing financial leadership, supporting efficient and effective financial resource management, and promoting financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation in a fluctuating funding environment. This is achieved through the development and implementation of sound financial policies and practices, oversight of corporate financial management performance, and the provision of flexible and scalable support for resource allocation. OFRM generates key financial information for the Executive Board, the corporate audit strategy of the General Assembly, and externally for Partners and civil society. It promotes transparency by delivering timely, high-quality statutory and financial reports that adhere to international public accounting standards and UNDP's regulatory guidelines. The audit coordination function is part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. It supports the implementation of the corporate audit strategy and assists in the planning and coordination of external and internal audits. BMS/OFRM enhances UNDP's operational performance and organizational effectiveness by providing audit management support, analysis, and advice in collaboration with relevant stakeholders across UNDP.
