About The Position

CLA is a national professional services firm providing industry-focused wealth advisory, digital, audit, tax, consulting, and outsourcing services. The Audit Senior will work with CLA’s team in Iowa, with locations in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines. The role plans, leads, and executes assurance engagements, performs a range of assurance procedures with clients and decision makers, prepares financial statements and related disclosures, and assesses internal controls. It also involves coordinating and developing team members and working with managers and principals to deliver effective client service.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Two years of relevant audit experience.

Nice To Haves

Eligible to sit for the CPA exam.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable condition correspondence letters.
Assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
Schedule, delegate, and train team members.
Collaborate with managers and principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
