About The Position

KPMG in Canada is seeking undergraduate business, commerce, accounting, and finance students pursuing their CPA designation to join their Audit Practice in the Ottawa and Kanata offices as Full-Time hires in Fall 2027. As a member of the audit and assurance team, you will work directly with leading companies, understand their processes, and help them meet evolving financial reporting standards and regulations. KPMG serves a variety of clients across different industries, including public, private, and not-for-profit organizations. New hires will be enrolled in KPMG’s CPA Training Program. The role offers opportunities across geographies and industries, with personalized on-the-job training and support from performance managers to ensure continuous growth. Remote work and travel opportunities are available, along with 50 personal care hours beyond vacation time.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate business, commerce, accounting, and finance students.
  • Pursuing CPA designation.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Committed to achieving Canadian CPA designation.
  • Working to obtain CPA required pre-requisite courses at post-secondary institution.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and establish strong internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to develop and motivate others, engage others, instill confidence, and coach people.
  • Ability to take opportunities to learn and adapt, use insights and self-reflection to build capability and embrace new challenges.
