The position offers an anticipated average salary range of $60,000–$65,000; the final offer is based on business-related factors, and offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow for future salary progression. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
0–3 years of experience.
Ability to travel 80% of the time around the suburbs of Chicago, with occasional travel to other locations in Illinois.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform basic audit procedures, including testing transactions and reviewing financial records.
Verify the accuracy of financial data by comparing items with supporting documentation.
Prepare audit work papers documenting audit tests and findings.
Assist in evaluating internal controls and identifying potential risks or compliance issues.
Communicate audit findings and discrepancies to audit team members.
Follow audit plans and ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies.
Contribute to team efforts and support audit team members.
Deliver professional and responsive client service through clear communication with clients and team members.
