Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
1-3 years of audit or assurance experience.
Understanding of audit methodology and financial statement engagements.
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in public accounting.

Nice To Haves

CPA or CPA-track status is a plus but not required.
Previous nonprofit audit experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Participate in financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for nonprofit and employee benefit plan clients.
Assist with Single Audits for organizations receiving federal funding.
Perform audit testing and evaluate internal controls.
Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation.
Communicate directly with clients and collaborate with engagement team members, managers, and partners.
Develop expertise in nonprofit and employee benefit plan auditing while growing your public accounting career.
