Job Summary Responsible for overseeing and coordinating audiology services within a healthcare facility, audiology clinic, or hearing center.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or Doctor of Audiology Degree required
  • Audiologist [State License] - required
  • Experience in audiology practice, preferably with some years of experience as a licensed audiologist, 3-5 years required
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, 2-3 years preferred
  • Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team of audiologists and support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Sound decision-making skills and the ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of audiological principles, diagnostic techniques, and treatment options for patients of all ages.
  • Proficiency in performing audiological evaluations, interpreting test results, and developing appropriate treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership to the audiology team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise audiologists, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback for professional development.
  • Ensure staff compliance with regulations, policies, and ethical guidelines.
  • Oversee the provision of comprehensive audiological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
  • Develop and implement audiology service protocols and procedures to optimize patient care.
