This position has been designated as safety sensitive and cannot be filled by a candidate who is a current user of medical marijuana. The intern provides a wide range of audiological services under the supervision of a certified, licensed Audiologist. The intern will review medical records, interview parents/caregivers, and select appropriate devices and ear molds based on audiometric configuration, patient's listening environment, and level of functioning. The intern will also assist with the Hearing Aid/ALD Loaner Bank, generate appropriate documents for recordkeeping, reporting, and referrals, and complete assigned tasks related to EARS, Infant Hearing Screening, HOP/outreach screening, and amplification/calibration repairs and maintenance projects.
