You'll participate in every aspect of patient care�from comprehensive evaluations and hearing aid fittings to counseling, rehabilitation, and follow-up care.
Requirements
- Current Au.D. student eligible for an externship placement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for patient-centered care and lifelong learning
- Professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative mindset
- Completing a BA/BS in an Audiology Program
- One year clinical site requirement required for licensure
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience evaluating and treating patients of all ages
- Receive training with advanced diagnostic equipment and hearing technology
- Receive mentorship from experienced audiologists committed to your success
- Gain exposure to a wide variety of hearing and balance disorders
- Strengthen clinical decision-making and patient counseling skills
- Participate in comprehensive evaluations and hearing aid fittings
