About The Position

We are excited to open the application window for our 2027 Audiology Extern. Externs train at four medical centers for a full calendar year, starting June 2027. The experience includes the provision of a full range of audiologic services to patients of all ages. Diagnostic services include behavioral and electrophysiological assessment of hearing and balance function; treatment services include the selection, fitting and verification of hearing aid amplification and other assistive and implantable devices. The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia’s largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. More than 700 physicians and 300 associate practitioners work together in a unique integrated care model to provide high-quality care to Kaiser Permanente members. Our focus is on long-term health, effective prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease. Care is delivered across 40+ specialties at 26 medical offices featuring state-of-the-art equipment, labs, imaging services, and pharmacies. We also provide surgical services and around-the-clock care at some of the area’s top hospitals. We invite applications for a specialist in Audiology at our Glenlake medical center.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a strong team player and have a strong desire to learn a full spectrum of audiologic services.
  • Applicants will have completed their university course work, be competent in performing diagnostic audiologic procedures on adults and children.
