Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Audiology
  • Licensure as an audiologist
  • Completion of CEUs for state licensure

Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments
  • Conducts hearing and balance evaluations for patients of all ages according to established standards
  • Evaluates, repairs, and performs fittings on hearing aids
  • Performs VNG Testing
  • Performs Cochlear Implant candidacy evaluations, activations, and re-mapping
  • Conducts follow-up evaluations for patients
  • Performs canalith repositioning maneuvers
  • Dispenses FM assistive listening systems and other assistive devices
  • Provides community service talks throughout the area and the Mercy Health System
  • May be required to work flexible hours
  • Performs other duties as assigned
