Requirements

Doctoral Degree in Audiology
Licensure as an audiologist
Completion of CEUs for state licensure

Responsibilities

Conducts comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments
Conducts hearing and balance evaluations for patients of all ages according to established standards
Evaluates, repairs, and performs fittings on hearing aids
Performs VNG Testing
Performs Cochlear Implant candidacy evaluations, activations, and re-mapping
Conducts follow-up evaluations for patients
Performs canalith repositioning maneuvers
Dispenses FM assistive listening systems and other assistive devices
Provides community service talks throughout the area and the Mercy Health System
May be required to work flexible hours
Performs other duties as assigned
