About The Position

This position is for an Audiologist at SSM Health Dean Medical Group in Janesville. The role involves performing audiological and vestibular function testing, developing hearing correction plans of care for patients with audiological impairments, and providing hearing device modifications. Key responsibilities include diagnostic testing to assess patient's hearing and vestibular status, determining appropriate treatment, and educating and counseling patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and continuing care.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Audiology
• No experience required
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
• Audiologist, Licensed - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) (for Illinois)
• Audiologist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration (for Missouri)
• Audiologist - Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology (for Oklahoma)
• Audiologist - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services OR WI Audiologist Temporary Permit - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (for Wisconsin)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing to assess patient's hearing and vestibular status and to determine appropriate treatment.
• Develops, documents, implements and evaluates hearing correction plan.
• Provides hearing device modifications.
• Educates and counsels patients, caregivers and family members on treatment options and continuing care.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
