About The Position

Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an experienced, BE/BC, Doctorate level Audiologist (Ph.D. or AuD) to join their team in their outstanding ENT/Audiology care program at the Austin Pflugerville Medical Center and Specialty Clinic. This position will focus on both pediatric and adult audiology patients. The ideal candidate will have a true passion for helping people communicate better through comprehensive audiological evaluations, which may include diagnostic audiologic hearing evaluations for patients of all ages, electrophysiological evaluations (ABR, OAE, Ecog, VEMP), vestibular testing (ENG/VNG and rotary chair), cochlear implant evaluations and mapping, and hearing aid dispensing and follow-up. Previous experience in performing these examinations is preferred.

Requirements

Valid Texas Audiology license.
Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in performing these examinations is preferred.
Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
At least three years of clinical experience, including testing and fitting for hearing aids, preferred but not required.
Current or eligible to obtain American Board of Audiology (ABA) certification.
