Requirements

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology.
  • Must meet the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology granted by the American Speech -Language-Hearing Association by either currently holding or previously holding certification; or meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification with completion of CCC in one year.
  • Must be certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in Audiology.
  • One (1) year experience in auditory brainstem response testing.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, evaluates and rehabilitates audiological disorders and hearing loss in patients, which may include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients according to clinical competency.
  • The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
