About The Position

Administers and interprets a variety of tests to determine type and degree of hearing impairment, makes a diagnosis and implements or coordinates habilitation and rehabilitation services for the patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate in audiology (AuD).
• At least six (6) months of experience in the field of Audiology.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Customer/client orientation.
• Decision-making skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
• Must possess an Oklahoma Board Licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
• Board certification through either the American Board of Audiology or the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (aka CCC-A).
• The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
• Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
