About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Audiologist for their Audiology Team who will embrace the mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Requirements
- MS degree in Audiology
- Licensure in Maryland as an Audiologist
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Responsibilities
- Interpret newborn hearing screening results.
- Report results according to AHC protocol and State requirement.
- Provide consultation to parents related to hearing and speech-language development. Provide referrals for any necessary follow-up.
- Maintain records related to newborn hearing screening.
- Conduct newborn hearing screenings according to department protocol.
