About The Position

WellSpan Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist with a doctoral degree in Audiology to join their team in Lancaster and Ephrata, PA. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team and offers a three-day per week part-time schedule. The Audiologist will conduct diagnostic testing, fit and service hearing aids and assistive listening devices, provide auditory rehabilitation and counseling, and maintain patient records.

Requirements

Masters Degree in Audiology
Completion of on-site experience through teaching facility.
Licensed Audiologist Upon Hire
Heartsaver CPR/AED Upon Hire
Basic Life Support Upon Hire or Ped Adv Life Support Upon Hire or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire
Certificate of Clinical Competence of Audiology Upon Hire
Meets requirements to enter a clinical fellowship year to attain a Certificate of Clinical Competency. Upon Hire
Maintains required licensures and/or certifications to practice in a professional or clinical role per appropriate law or state board regulations. Upon Hire
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
Good time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiar with use of standard office equipment such as computer, printer, fax, and copier.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough diagnostic testing for patients, including hearing screening follow-ups and diagnostic ABRs.
Fit, program, and service hearing aids and other assistive listening devices, including Cochlear implants and Bahas.
Provide auditory rehabilitation and counseling to patients, advocating for early intervention and support services for adults with hearing loss.
Maintain detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
