Beloit Health System is looking to add a Full-Time Audiologist to our Physical Medicine Team. The Audiologist is responsible for performing diagnostic hearing and hearing aid evaluations, providing industrial hearing conservation programs, VNG studies, and dispensing, maintenance, and repair of hearing aids. The role involves performing screens and diagnostic evaluations, interpreting findings, establishing and executing appropriate plans of care, and referring patients to other professionals when indicated. The Audiologist will also counsel and educate patients, families, and colleagues, and document patient data according to department policies. A key responsibility includes demonstrating knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations pertaining to hearing conservation and maintaining program compliance for industrial contracts. The position also involves participation in performance improvement, community and staff education programs, and sharing in the supervision of student interns. The Audiologist will perform necessary functions to maintain a clean and safe work area, and participate in program development such as implementing/expanding services and educating customers. The role requires regular access to and maintenance of protected health information and respectful interaction with a wide variety of constituents. Coverage may be provided to other Physical Medicine locations as needed.
