Provides diagnostic and therapeutic audiology services by selecting and administering behavioral, electrophysiological and other relevant tests, determining type and degree of hearing impairment and effects on comprehension and speech. Establishes treatment goals, fits hearing aides and other assistive devices and counsels patients and families. This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) at our Cambridge location, working 5 8-hour days with no call or weekends. The average patient load is 10-12 per day. The role involves seeing all ages for hearing tests and hearing aids, including bone anchored hearing aids, and a new program with cochlear implants for adults. Opportunities for specialized testing such as ABR and vestibular are also available. The role is part of a high-functioning team that collaborates well together, and they are open to new or experienced Audiologists.
