About The Position
This growing hearing healthcare organization is opening a brand-new location in Houston, TX and is seeking an Audiologist to join the team. With roots dating back to the 1980s and a strong connection to the multilingual communities it serves, this organization is committed to providing personalized hearing care to a diverse adult patient population. This is more than stepping into an established clinic — you'll have the opportunity to help build a brand-new Houston location from the ground up. The organization currently operates an established location in Georgia and has plans for continued growth, including additional locations in Texas and North Carolina. The Houston location is expected to serve a large number of patients from the area's Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese communities. Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds will be particularly important.
Requirements
- Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist
- Enjoys working with adult patients, diagnostics, hearing aids, and tinnitus management
- Strong communication skills
- Cultural sensitivity
- Genuine desire to provide patient-centered care to Houston's diverse community

- Bilingual communication (Korean, Mandarin/Cantonese, Vietnamese, or another commonly spoken language in the community)
Responsibilities
- Pure-tone audiometry and clinical masking
- Hearing aid counseling, fitting, programming, and follow-up
