Requirements

Active New York State Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Experience fitting and dispensing hearing aids.

Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Lyric and custom hearing solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for adult patients following best practice guidelines.
Counsel patients on hearing test results and recommend appropriate hearing solutions based on individual needs and lifestyles.
Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids, including daily-wear and extended-wear technology.
Provide follow-up care, hearing aid adjustments, troubleshooting, and ongoing patient support.
Educate patients and caregivers on hearing loss, hearing technology, and realistic expectations.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to state and professional standards.
Build strong patient relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the Newburgh location.
