About The Position

AudioNova is seeking an Audiologist, licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, or eligible Audiology Extern to provide patient-centered hearing care in Wilmington, North Carolina. The role focuses on assessing patients’ hearing, explaining treatment and hearing-instrument options, supporting patients in using hearing technology, and helping the clinic operate smoothly. AudioNova describes its workplace as supportive and collaborative, with ongoing training, mentorship, and career pathways. The position offers a salary of $70,000–$75,000 plus commission and is based at 1121-H Military Cutoff Rd., Wilmington, NC 28405. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

Hold a Hearing Aid Dispensing License in North Carolina.
Third- and fourth-year Audiology Externs are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

Doctorate in Audiology preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform patient hearing-test assessments, analyze results, and recommend treatment and product options.
Address patients’ questions and concerns about the benefits of hearing-aid use.
Discuss hearing-instrument pricing and explain the value of hearing-health care, the services provided, and the long-term effects of hearing-aid use.
Conduct community outreach to generate new patient referrals.
Teach patients how to use new technology to meet their hearing goals.
Repair, check, and clean hearing aids.
Adjust fitted products and follow company procedures and quality standards to maximize product performance and address patient concerns or objections.
Work with clinic staff to ensure smooth office operations.
