Audio Visual Technician- Hotel Full Time
About The Position
ITA Audio Visual Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, customer-service-oriented Audio Visual Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to channel your passion and expertise into a rewarding full-time career. The role involves delivering top-notch customer service, setting up and operating audio and video equipment, rigging, and lighting, as well as undertaking administrative tasks related to the AV department. This full-time position features a flexible shift schedule and overtime when necessary. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to the location before starting work. Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in audio/visual technology, cultivated through work experience or personal hobbies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
- The ability to multitask and prioritize various responsibilities
- A willingness to pass background checks and meet the physical requirements of the job
- A valid driver's license
- A flexible approach to work schedules
- A professional appearance
- Associates Degree or equivalent two-year college/technical school or minimum one year of in-house audio visual experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects tools, or controls, and talk and hear.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance.
- Must regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs; frequently (less than 20% of the time) lift and/or move 100 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Delivering top-notch customer service to clients
- Setup and teardown of audio and video equipment, rigging, and lighting
- Operating a variety of audio and video equipment and lighting systems
- Undertaking administrative tasks related to the AV department
