About The Position
This is a part-time Audio Visual Technician position at the Frisco Embassy Suites. The role involves transforming meeting rooms into event-ready spaces, setting up and managing audio-visual equipment, and ensuring guest satisfaction during events. The position requires adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.
Requirements
- 6+ months of banquet or serving experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Food Safety and Alcohol Certifications (or ability to complete within 90 days).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet for long shifts.
- Flexibility to bend, squat, and hustle.
Responsibilities
- Transform meeting rooms into event-ready spaces, from table setups to tech gear, all per the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
- Keep event areas spotless, organized, and guest-ready before, during, and after the party.
- Be the go-to hero for guests during events—answering questions, meeting needs, and making magic happen.
- Set up and manage audio-visual equipment like a backstage pro.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols to keep everyone safe.
