About The Position
This position is available only to enrolled American University students. Most student positions at American University are eligible to use Federal Work Study (FWS) awards, with a few exceptions. The Student Audio Visual Technician will assist with the setup and operation of audiovisual equipment for classes, conferences, and special events at the Washington College of Law. The Technician also provides support to students, faculty, and staff by answering the phone, responding to emails, and creating support tickets.
Requirements
- Must be an enrolled American University student.
- Ability to assist with the setup and operation of audiovisual equipment.
- Ability to provide support to students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to answer the phone, respond to emails, and create support tickets.
- Ability to troubleshoot AV equipment and replace defective or malfunctioning parts.
- Experience with video production projects, including interviews and instructional videos.

Responsibilities
