Requirements

  • 2+ years Audio-Visual Sales experience preferred.
  • Prior outside sales experience, especially in new account acquisition.
  • Experience in AV technology sales to K-12, Enterprise, Commercial, Medical, and Local Municipalities
  • Strong work ethic with perseverance, determination, and self-discipline.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to analyze market data and sales metrics.
  • Proven ability to apply advanced selling principles and provide strategic sales advice.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and pass a background check & pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Audio-Visual technology is a plus – CTS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and maintain relationships with potential customers to grow sales and meet quotas.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend AV solutions that align with their goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and best sales practices.
  • Identify new market segments that would benefit from company products.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Maintain a professional image in appearance, communication, and interactions.
  • Provide accurate sales information to internal teams for quote and order processing.
  • Work closely with project management and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage and maintain sales forecast.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Regular local, regional, and out-of-state travel required.
