About The Position

Life Science Connect is building the next generation of life sciences events. Following the integration of the Precision Medicine World Conference portfolio, we are accelerating investments in live events that connect leaders across biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, diagnostics, precision medicine, and healthcare innovation. Our events bring together decision-makers, researchers, clinicians, solution providers, and emerging companies to share insights, build partnerships, and advance innovation. We are looking for a driven, tech-savvy Audience Growth & Event Sales Associate who thrives on creating opportunities and converting prospects into customers. This role combines targeted outreach, audience development, event sales, AI-powered prospecting, and relationship-based selling. You'll use cutting-edge AI tools, LinkedIn, CRM data, and outbound sales techniques to identify prospective attendees and exhibitors, build meaningful conversations, and help grow one of the industry's most respected precision medicine event portfolios. Requirements

  • Two to three years of inside or outbound sales experience, in conferences or events.
  • Familiarity with life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, academia, research, startups, or related sectors is a plus.
  • Resilient, motivated, and comfortable with consistent outbound activity, persuasive follow-up, and deadline-driven closing.
  • Confident and professional by phone and email, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using generative AI and AI-assisted sales tools for prospect research, lead qualification, personalized outreach, content development, and workflow efficiency.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, email sequencing tools, Excel, and LinkedIn is required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns to convert warm leads, past participants, website inquiries, and researched prospects into paid event registrations.
  • Identify department leaders and organizational buyers, present volume-discounted ticket packages, and secure group registrations.
  • Build professional, value-driven conversations with senior-level contacts and targeted accounts, connecting event participation to their business goals.
  • Sell predefined exhibition packages, showcase opportunities, and à la carte options that align with prospect needs and event availability.
  • Use promotional offers, registration deadlines, and current availability to help prospects make informed decisions and close sales by phone and email.
  • Maintain accurate contacts, outreach activity, follow-ups, opportunities, and next steps in the CRM to support a fast-moving event sales pipeline.
  • Use AI tools, LinkedIn, CRM data, and team-provided lead lists to identify and qualify attendee and exhibitor opportunities, develop prospect insights, and support personalized outreach at scale.
  • Travel occasionally to support events, meetings, and business needs. Other duties as assigned.
