About The Position

Woodruff Arts Center employees play an integral role in creating and supporting great art and education initiatives at the nation’s third largest arts center. Comprised of three Art Partners—Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art—there’s a role for everyone at The Woodruff. Reports to: Senior Director, Sales and Audience Development FLSA: United States of America (Exempt) Employment Status: Regular/Full time Support efforts to increase ticket sales revenue for Delta Classical concerts, Family Series concerts, Goizueta Stage for Youth and Family concerts, and ASO memberships. Assist with group and corporate ticket sales initiatives, including outreach and follow-up. Provide excellent customer service to group and corporate sales patrons. Support the implementation of marketing and audience development strategies to help achieve departmental goals. Assist with elements of the group and corporate sales cycle, including lead generation, ticket reservations, and follow-up communications. Maintain strong relationships with existing group customers to encourage repeat attendance. Assist in coordinating special events, corporate receptions, and room rentals. Communicate programmatic information clearly and professionally to groups of 10 or more to support single-ticket and group sales across all series. Support outreach efforts to new community groups, companies, and associations for group sales lead generation. Assist with the growth and retention of group memberships. Serve as an ASO representative at concert events, as scheduled, in coordination with Sales & Marketing staff. CRITICAL ELEMENTS: Assist in cultivating relationships with corporate, group sales, and membership patrons. Conduct outbound sales calls and assist with prospect outreach under the direction of senior staff. Help identify sales prospects and support the preparation of presentations and sales materials. Represent the ASO at selected community events, networking opportunities, and concerts. Assist with creating and distributing email offers and promotional materials for group sales, corporate partners, and sponsors. Support the Sr. Director and sales team with sales planning, reporting, and audience targeting initiatives. Assist with marketing initiatives including email campaigns, direct mail, text messaging, and event-related promotions. Process incoming group and corporate sales inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions. Perform other duties as assigned.
