About The Position

Heritage Auctions, the largest auction house founded in the U.S., is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Auctions Operations Assistant for its headquarters in Dallas, Texas. This entry-level position is responsible for the presentation of consignment items, including sorting, imaging, cleaning, labeling, data entry, and some heavy lifting. The role is located south of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• General knowledge of paper money
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail
• Individuals must be comfortable lifting to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Enter item information into the computer system accurately
• Ensure all items are imaged promptly
• Prepare (sort, clean, and label) items for auction
• Must be comfortable with day-to-day heavy lifting
• Prepare orders for shipping in compliance with established procedures
• Ship orders immediately after auctions.
• Process and forward items remaining onsite until payments are received
• Inform supervisors of any discrepancies or issues
• Other duties may be assigned
