Part-time Auction Vehicle Driver
About The Position
A growing national auto auction is seeking a part-time, entry-level Auction Vehicle Driver. The role involves moving customer vehicles safely and efficiently around the auction property and through auction lanes on sale days. Monday through Thursday work may include picking up vehicles from dealerships and delivering them to the auction intake lot. Friday work is required, with the option to work additional hours during the week based on availability. The required Friday schedule is 8:30 AM until approximately 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Available hours Monday through Wednesday are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Thursday pre-sale hours are 8:00 AM until 5:00, 6:00, or 7:00 PM. There is no weekend work. Compensation is $11.00 per hour. Part-time employees may be eligible for select company benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment screening.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Prepare and move vehicles throughout the auction process.
- Transport vehicles from customer locations to the auction.
- Maintain organized vehicle staging and auction lane operations.
- Communicate issues to management and support daily operations.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
