About The Position

This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 9-12 hours per week, with a schedule typically falling on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The role involves utilizing the AS400 system for various tasks related to auction sales, including recording bid amounts, entering customer data, processing sold units, and verifying/entering lights. The specialist will work virtually with the auctioneer to ensure system information accurately reflects the vehicle, verify the vehicle run order, and operate a monitor to review Simulcast bids. Additionally, the role requires providing arbitration and vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer, handling late titles via calls and emails, using Salesforce for title absent support, and collaborating with client services to respond to customer requests through multiple channels. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Generally, less than 2 years of experience
  • Effective communication skills required.
  • Must possess good problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
  • Ability to lift 1-10 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, enter customer data, process all sold units, and verify/enter lights.
  • Work with auctioneer virtually to verify system information accurately represents vehicle.
  • Verify vehicle run order to ensure appropriate vehicle is being keyed and sold.
  • Operate monitor virtually, work with auctioneer to review Simulcast bids.
  • Provide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support auctioneer.
  • Call and E-mail on late titles.
  • Utilize salesforce for title absent support.
  • In partnership of client services contact center operations to receive and respond to customer requests through various channels (e.g. phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems).
  • Other duties as assigned.
