About The Position
Bonhams is seeking responsible, team-oriented, and driven part-time Auction Assistants to work at the Marlborough Gallery. This on-call role supports auctions and includes behind-the-scenes work, from front desk coverage to hands-on work with property in-house. Weekday shifts are scheduled, with evening and weekend work required. A flexible schedule is essential.
Requirements
- Able to lift 35 to 40 lbs and climb a ladder.
- Willingness to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility of schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the gallery for auctions.
- Assist with pickups, previews, and events.
- Unpack, pack, and conduct inventory of property.
- Participate in fundamental tasks during auctions.
- Assist with various administrative tasks.
