About The Position

Hershey’s Chocolate World is the most popular brand experience in the world, attracting nearly four million guests annually. We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating extraordinary impressions through our people. This part-time position is located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with work hours primarily during the summer and fall. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position.

Requirements

Must maintain a neat appearance, meet the uniform standards, and follow the Good Manufacturing Practices Guidelines provided at hire.
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 30 pounds.
Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours.
Ability to bend, stoop, and twist.
Must be capable of vocal performance for a period of 30-60 minutes at a time.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, fellow coworkers, and function effectively as part of a team.
Must have basic computer skills.
Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Greeting and interacting with guests in the Create Your Own Candy Bar (CYOCB) attraction by providing customer service.
Assisting guests through the process of “creating their own bar” on an actual factory manufacturing line.
Cleaning and replenishing the assembly line machines and supplies.
Scanning guests’ entry tickets to the attraction.
Assisting guests on the candy bar wrapper computers.
Having a general knowledge of the machinery and candy-making process.
Demonstrate our Customer Service Pledge: be approachable, initiate contact with guests by being courteous and greeting them with a smile, listen to guests and provide for their needs, and provide a genuine Thank You to every guest.
Greet guests and assist them as they move through the attraction.
Listen to customers and provide information to assist them.
Memorize a short script and speak clearly to an audience.
Clean and replenish assembly line machines and supplies.
