About The Position

This is professional legal work in providing counsel to the employing jurisdiction and those acting on behalf of the jurisdiction in governmental, municipal, administrative, employment, environmental, and other relevant areas of law.

Requirements

  • Attainment of a minimum Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited school of law
  • A minimum of one year experience as a practicing attorney performing legal and trial work, preferably in governmental or municipal law, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama and the Southern District of Alabama.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
