About The Position
Nobles County is seeking to hire an Assistant County Attorney I or II, depending on experience. This position is ideal for those interested in working with a diverse community and gaining jury trial experience. The role will primarily focus on criminal prosecution, with caseload determined by the candidate's experience level. Nobles County is a diverse, growing community located in Southwestern Minnesota.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- State of Minnesota Attorney’s License and Certification to practice before the District Court in the State of Minnesota, or will obtain prior to start date
- Assistant County Attorney I: one year experience as an attorney including courtroom experience
- Assistant County Attorney II: a minimum of four years of experience as an attorney, including a minimum of three years of demonstrated courtroom experience in areas directly relevant to the work required in this position
