About The Position
Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm recognized for understanding client needs and delivering expected results. The Pittsburgh Office in Mt. Lebanon, PA is seeking a General Liability Attorney to join their growing team.
Requirements
- JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
- Active license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
- 5-7 years of insurance defense experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Insurance coverage background.
- Trial experience.
- Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software.
- Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new files.
- Client communications.
- Discovery production.
- Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
- Prepare and argue discovery, substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals.
- Attend pretrial listings, motions and trial.
