Responsible for providing legal assessments, interpretations, and recommendations on a variety of legal, regulatory, governance, transactional, and policy matters affecting UAMPS. Counsels and advises internal departments regarding legal rights, obligations, risks, and compliance requirements. Prepares, reviews, and negotiates legal documents, agreements, resolutions, governance materials, and other correspondence. Supports project development, public governance, records, transparency, financing, transmission, compliance, and risk-management initiatives. Represents the organization in judicial, regulatory, administrative, or other appropriate forums as needed. Maintains confidentiality of documents, legal matters, and case information. Coordinates with outside counsel to support organizational objectives.
