About The Position

The firm represents clients across various practice areas including Domestic Relations, Civil Litigation, Probate and Estate Planning, and Criminal Defense. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Minimum 2 years of experience practicing law
  • Active Colorado law license in good standing
  • Extensive domestic relations experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Professional, organized, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • Comfortable appearing in court and interacting with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Criminal law experience is a significant plus
  • Preferred experience with Westlaw, Filevine, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in domestic relations proceedings
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other parties
  • Attend hearings, conferences, mediations, depositions, and other court-related proceedings
  • Manage case deadlines, filings, and documentation
  • Assist with discovery, trial preparation, negotiations, and settlement discussions
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to provide excellent client representation
