About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm with offices in 15 countries, is seeking a highly skilled Attorney Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Attorney Recruiting Team. This role will be based in their Salt Lake City or Denver office on a hybrid basis, requiring regular in-office presence for operations, meetings, training, and relationship building. The specialist will play a critical role in providing strategic recruitment solutions, driving success, and anticipating needs within a fast-paced, business-driven environment. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across various teams and offices, delivering exceptional client service.   • Five to eight years of related attorney recruiting in a mid-to-large law firm setting or executive search experience.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
  • Familiarity with talent/competitive intelligence reporting.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality.

  • Experience with Workday, Firm Prospects, Pirical, and/or LinkedIn Recruiter a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Source lateral associate and shareholder candidates for open and anticipated positions using sourcing platforms like Firm Prospects, Pirical, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospective candidates and cultivate an excellent candidate experience.
  • Assist with initial candidate screening and qualification discussions.
  • Perform legal market research, competitor analysis, and talent intelligence reporting.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Workday, including interview activity tracking and recruiting metrics.
  • Assist the Attorney Talent Acquisition Manager, office Managing Shareholders, and Practice Group Leaders with the recruitment process for summer associates, lateral shareholders, lateral associates, and alternative track attorneys.
  • Provide support for the on-campus recruiting process by preparing materials, scheduling callback interviews, following up with attorneys, and coordinating communication to candidates.
  • Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Summer Associate Program, including coordinating training, sourcing work assignments, compiling evaluations, and planning social events.
  • Assist in drafting/updating job postings; review and process resumes in the applicant tracking system (Workday) and generate reports.
  • Manage and update applicant databases with relevant information and prepare offer packages.
  • Coordinate in-person or virtual interview schedules and gather feedback on prospective candidates.
  • Interface effectively with candidates or legal search firms, provide correspondence, and submit background check requests.
  • Network with career services to reach law students.
  • Assist with other department activities as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
