About The Position
Supports the Civil Division PIA Section by coordinating and processing Public Information Act (PIA) requests for Dallas County, including but not limited to those involving the County Clerk, Tax Assessor, District Clerk and District Attorney; prepares legal briefs for submission to the Texas Attorney General’s Office, with additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Experience with the Public Information Act (PIA).
- Familiarity with legal processes and procedures.
- Ability to prepare legal briefs.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Knowledge of forfeiture laws and procedures.
Responsibilities
