About The Position
Our Sugar Land office is seeking a litigation-minded Associate Attorney to help defend a broad portfolio of general liability matters. If you thrive on building cases from the ground up and want real courtroom exposure early in your career, this is a chance to do meaningful work alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative, in-person environment. Open to Remote candidates in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio!
Requirements
- At least 3 years of civil litigation experience, ideally in general liability or defense work.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
- Comfortable managing a docket independently while collaborating with a trial team.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own docket of general liability files from intake through resolution—developing case strategy, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing matters for mediation and trial.
- Working shoulder-to-shoulder with senior partners, you'll have consistent client contact and room to sharpen your judgment on increasingly complex disputes.
- Premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims will make up much of your work.
