About The Position

This role involves dispensing gasoline or kerosene, providing excellent customer service, processing payments, maintaining the cleanliness of the service station and its surroundings, and performing various other related duties as assigned. The attendant must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including snow removal during winter months, and occasionally handle supplies exceeding 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Dispense gasoline or kerosene into customer vehicles or approved containers, and load containers into customer vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service by being polite to each customer.
Operate gasoline pumps, fill gas tanks, and provide other additional services to customer vehicles.
Assist customers with purchases.
Receive payments from customers and return appropriate change.
Balance currency sales daily.
Place cash drops into floor safe according to service station procedures.
Clean restrooms, gasoline and kerosene pumps, and the service station office, including wiping surfaces, cleaning toilets, and mopping floors.
Remove trash liners from trashcans and place them in the garbage collection dumpster.
Sweep the lot daily, removing debris and placing it in the trash container.
Occasionally move boxes of supplies exceeding 50 lbs.
Work in outdoor weather conditions.
Remove snow from walkways using a broom or shovel during winter months.
Distribute salt on walkways and driveways after snow removal.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
