About The Position

The Attendant - Store Donations supports the store donation center by receiving, processing, moving, and organizing donations and shipments. The role includes counting, weighing, and measuring merchandise; safely loading, unloading, sorting, and stacking items; tracking merchandise movements and weights; and reporting shortages or discrepancies. The attendant may also assist donors and customers and helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. This is an active position in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Team members work together to keep donations moving and support the company’s charity partners, stores, and environmental mission.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and staying active.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 25 pounds.
Have basic math skills and attention to detail.
Be organized, dependable, and able to work well with others.
Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Be willing to complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.
Know how to work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Count, weigh, and measure incoming and outgoing donations and shipments.
Safely load, unload, sort, stack, and organize merchandise.
Move donations and materials to designated areas throughout the facility.
Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to transport materials safely.
Track and record merchandise movements and weights accurately.
Identify and report shortages, discrepancies, or other concerns to management.
Assist donors and customers at the store donation center when needed.
Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized.
Work with the team to keep donations moving efficiently.
